Game data stored locally

Hexdrive stores progress and preferences needed to run the game. This can include credits, upgrades, unlocked HEX nodes, selected tracks, best times, race totals, control bindings, assist choices, graphics settings, audio preferences, and accessibility settings. A randomly generated local device identifier is used only to resolve save-file updates; it is not an advertising identifier and is not used to identify you.

Android

In the current Android release, this game data remains on your device. The game does not send gameplay analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, messages, or payment information to the developer. Hexdrive does not include advertising, in-app purchases, or a third-party analytics SDK in the current Android release.

Steam

When the Steam version is running through Steam, Hexdrive uses Steamworks to read your Steam persona name, synchronize the game save through Steam Auto-Cloud, update achievements and aggregate gameplay statistics, and display rich presence. Game statistics can include races, wins, distance, repairs, overdrives, Core use, route choices, and similar career totals. Hexdrive does not receive your Steam password, email address, or payment-card details.

Support correspondence

If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and any diagnostic information you choose to send. This information is used only to respond, investigate the reported issue, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.

Valve operates Steam, Steamworks, Steam Cloud, achievements, statistics, presence, distribution, purchases, and Steam account controls. Google operates Google Play distribution and may process store, account, device, purchase, and installation information independently under its own policies. The developer does not sell or rent personal information and does not share Android gameplay data with advertisers or data brokers.

Android game data

Hexdrive does not create an account. You can delete locally stored Android progress and settings by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or uninstalling the game. Because this data is not held by the developer, we cannot restore it after deletion.

Steam data

You can manage Steam Cloud and profile visibility through Steam settings. Steam-account access, correction, export, and deletion requests are handled through Steam Support and Valve's Privacy Dashboard. Locally stored desktop save data can also be removed from the application-data folder after Steam Cloud is disabled or its remote copy is managed.

You may ask us to delete support correspondence reasonably linked to you by emailing the address below. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or the defense of legal claims.

Retention & security

How long data remains.

Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the game. Steam-hosted data follows your Steam settings and Valve's retention practices. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide support and meet the purposes described above. We use reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Audience

Children's privacy.

Hexdrive is a general-audience racing game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The game does not knowingly request personal information from children. Steam and Google accounts are governed by their respective age, family, and parental-control requirements. Contact us if you believe a child sent personal information through the support channel.

Changes to this policy.

This policy may change when Hexdrive, its platform integrations, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be published here with a revised effective date. Store disclosures will be updated when data practices change.
